Bock & Blu was formed in 1987. All of our musicians had been in various other bands, but were still searching for
something new and exciting AND hard to find --- a band with top-notch professional musicians that would inspire audiences as well as the musicians themselves ---
a band that would perform at private affairs, corporate events and weddings but didn’t sound like a typical "wedding band".
Well, it didn't take long. The concept worked and Bock & Blu was a hit.
Then after our first five years of heavy bookings through the New York,
Connecticut & New Jersey tri-state area's largest wedding and corporate event
booking agencies, we decided to go out on our own. Instead of dealing with a large impersonal agency, our clients could now meet directly with a
Bock & Blu representative who was also a member of the band. Our clients have
always appreciated this personal touch.
